Description
Named after the Greek word for the open sea, the Tudor Pelagos draws on a diving heritage that began in 1954 with Tudor’s first Submariner and grew through decades of service with the French Navy’s Marine Nationale. The Reference M25600TB is the second generation of the modern Pelagos, which introduced Tudor’s in-house manufacture movement to this pure professional dive watch. Its 42mm case in satin-finished titanium is light yet extremely robust, with a titanium screw-down crown, a helium escape valve at 9 o’clock and water resistance to 500 metres. The unidirectional titanium bezel carries a matte blue ceramic disc with luminescent graduations. On the matte blue dial, the emblematic colour of Tudor’s divers’ watches since the 1960s, bold square luminous indices are paired with Tudor’s signature snowflake hands and a date window at 3 o’clock. Powered by the self-winding Manufacture Calibre MT5612, a COSC-certified chronometer with a 70-hour power reserve, the watch is fitted with a titanium bracelet whose patented self-adjusting clasp extends and contracts with the wrist. The Pelagos is the perfect union of Tudor’s diving legacy and modern technical engineering.
