Since its debut in 1953, the Rolex Submariner has stood as the definitive diver’s watch, the benchmark against which every other tool watch is measured. The reference 126610LN, introduced in 2020, refines that legacy with a subtly enlarged 41 mm Oystersteel case, slimmer lugs and a more balanced profile on the wrist, while staying faithful to the iconic design that made the Submariner a classic. The unidirectional rotatable bezel carries a black Cerachrom ceramic insert with a 60-minute graduated scale, resistant to scratches and fading, and the Triplock screw-down crown ensures water resistance to 300 metres. The black lacquered dial features the signature hour markers and hands filled with long-lasting Chromalight luminescence, with a date window at 3 o’clock magnified by the Cyclops lens. Inside beats the Rolex calibre 3235, a self-winding movement with the Chronergy escapement and approximately 70 hours of power reserve, certified as a Superlative Chronometer. The watch is presented on an Oystersteel Oyster bracelet with Oysterlock safety clasp and the Glidelock extension system for fine on-the-fly adjustment. Offered in unworn condition, this is the modern Submariner exactly as Rolex intended it — untouched and ready for its first owner.
