Description
The Rolex Sky-Dweller, introduced in 2012, was designed for global travellers, combining a dual time zone with Rolex’s patented Saros annual calendar, one of the most sophisticated complications the brand has ever produced. Reference 336934, from the latest generation unveiled in 2023, comes in a 42 mm Oyster case in White Rolesor, Rolex’s pairing of Oystersteel and 18k white gold, topped with the fluted Ring Command bezel that lets the wearer set each function simply by rotating it. The crisp white dial displays a second time zone on an off-centre 24-hour disc, read against the red triangle at 12 o’clock, while the current month is shown in red at the hour markers around the edge of the dial. Inside beats the self-winding calibre 9002, a Superlative Chronometer with a power reserve of approximately 72 hours. The watch is fitted on an elegant five-link Jubilee bracelet in Oystersteel with a concealed Oysterclasp and Easylink extension system. It’s a masterpiece of practical complication, made for life across time zones.
