Introduced in 2012, the Rolex Sky-Dweller was designed for the global traveller and remains one of the most technically sophisticated watches in the Rolex collection. The Reference 336934 is the latest generation, presented in a 42mm Oystersteel case with a signature fluted bezel in 18k white gold. That bezel is more than decorative: it forms part of Rolex’s patented Ring Command system, which turns to select the function being set. The sunray blue dial displays a second time zone on an off-centre 24-hour disc, read via the red inverted triangle, while an ingenious annual calendar shows the current month through small apertures beside the hour markers, needing adjustment only once a year. Powered by the self-winding Calibre 9002 with a 72-hour power reserve and fitted on the Oyster bracelet, the Sky-Dweller pairs complex engineering with effortless everyday wearability.
