Rolex’s two-colour Cerachrom bezel was once thought impossible: blue is notoriously difficult to achieve in ceramic, and fusing it with black in a single piece took years of research before it debuted on the GMT-Master in 2013. The GMT-Master II reference 126710BLNR wears that achievement proudly, and on the Jubilee bracelet it earns the nickname collectors know it by, the “Batgirl.” Its 40mm Oystersteel case is water-resistant to 100 metres, framed by a bidirectional 24-hour bezel that tracks a third time zone at a glance. The black dial is crisp and legible, with Chromalight hour markers in 18k white gold and a blue 24-hour hand that echoes the bezel. Inside, the Calibre 3285 is made for travellers: the local hour hand jumps independently in one-hour steps without stopping the watch, and the date follows. It runs as a Superlative Chronometer with a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. The five-link Jubilee bracelet softens the tool-watch spirit with a dressier finish, closed by an Oysterclasp with Easylink comfort extension. It is a pilot’s watch at heart, with a little more polish than its famous brother.
